Westmeath County Enterprise Board
Westmeath County Enterprise Board Ltd. was established in 1993 to develop and support new and existing enterprises in County Westmeath. Since 1993, we have provided support to thousands of individuals and businesses in every part of Westmeath. Whether you are a new or existing business, we can provide support to you. The focus of our work is with businesses who employ 10 or less employees, and we have supported businesses in every sector, including manufacturing, international trade, design and craft, services, retail, childcare and food production.
The core supports provided by Westmeath Enterprise Board include:
- Financial Assistance (Eligible Categories only)
- Provision of Business Library and Advice
- Business Training
- Encouraging Enterprise Development in County Westmeath
In addition to these core supports, we have also assisted businesses with trade show costs, website development, new product development and research, specialised mentoring, marketing, recruitment, re-location, advice on expansion, networking and sales development. Each year, approx 750 people avail of our training courses on a range of business topics. Staff at Westmeath Enterprise Board are always happy to discuss your business idea or to help you with any business query you might have. It is advisable to make an appointment prior to visiting our offices so we can assure you of time to meet with you and assist you.

Structure
Westmeath County Enterprise Board Ltd is a company limited by guarantee ; The Board of 14 members is comprised of representatives of the state development agencies, members of the County Council and other local bodies and is supported by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment and the EU Commission.
City and County Enterprise Boards are funded by the Irish Government and part-financed by the European Union under the National Development Plan 2007-2013.
Our offices are located in Church Avenue, Mullingar and are open from Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm.
