Civic Centre:
The Civic Centre will close at 4.00p.m. on Wednesday December 23rd 2009 and
will reopen at 9.00a.m. on Thursday December 31st 2009.
The Civic Centre will also be closed on New Years Day.
Refuse Collection:
During the Christmas period the refuse collection service will be in accordance
with the normal schedule
except for the following dates:

The Council service will terminate completely on December 31st, 2009 . However,
Oxigen
Environmental Ltd., will take over the service from January 2nd, 2010 and
there will be no change

Christmas Trees will be accepted at the Athlone Civic Amenity & Rycling
Centre from Wednesday
January 6th, to Saturday January 23rd, 2010 and a charge of €2.00 per
tree will apply.
