Based in Ballymahon Co. Longford, where the inny river runs through, the inny kayakers association are drawn from a large catchment of local paddlers.
The inny being one of the most popular grade 2-3 rivers in the country due to its central location provides a c.4km stretch of prime paddling real estate with rapids containing some pour-overs, stoppers, holes and standing waves providing the perfect run for beginners and experienced paddlers alike.
The Inny kayakers association pride themselves on promoting safe paddling in line with the governing body, the Irish Canoe Union (ICU) safety guidelines and training structure. Trips away are plenty and new members are always welcome.
