Athlone Recycling Centre

The centre is being run by AES (Advanced Environmental Solutions) on behalf of the Council. The centre is located to the rear of Golden Island Shopping Centre in Athlone.

A wide range of materials are accepted from householders for recycling at the facilty. Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) is accepted free of charge. The Civic Amenity Sites are for Domestic Use Only.

Opening Hours

Monday to Saturday 9.00am to 5.00pm. Last car admitted at 4.50pm

Charges

There is a €2 gate fee per car, €5 per car & trailer, jeep or multi-person vehicle.
