Athlone Folk Club	Athlone Folk Club is a non profit making organisation. We are interested in the promotion of music in Athlone. Although our main interest is traditional Irish and Folk music we are open to all types of music as verified by the list of artists who have played in the club.
Athlone Irish Speaking Group	We meet and use whatever Irish we have, listen to Irish music and generally have a good night out.
Athlone Little Theatre	The Little Theatre movement in Athlone was begun in the year 1936 and has remained a constant presence in the cultural life of the town to this day.

Drum Heritage Group	The one thousand square foot Visitor Centre/History Museum contains a display area for public viewing of one of the largest collections in the Midlands of historic documents, and memorabilia relating to Drum and its Hinterland.
Feadog	The Feadg - or Irish Tin whistle - produce magical music from a minute source.
Life in the Flood Plain of the River Shannon	Frank Hemstead, or Hempstead, lived close to the callows of Clonbonny, near Athlone, Co. Westmeath, Ireland. His book records colourful Hiberno-English expressions.

RTE All-Ireland Drama Festival	The festival, which is run under the auspices of the Amateur Drama Council of Ireland, is held in May and is one of the premier events of its kind in Europe.
Tonnta	Tonnta Ltd., Street Theatre and Community Arts Group was established in 1994 to answer a need for colour and entertainment in the St. Patrick's Day Parade and the Heineken River Festival held annually in Athlone.
